The History of Digital Microscopes：
The early digital microscopes were produced by a company in Tokyo, Japan in 1986. It includes a control box and a lens connected to the computer. The original connection to the computer is an analog connection through an S-video connection. Over time, the connection changed to Firewire 800 to handle a large amount of digital information from digital cameras. Around 2005, they launched advanced all-in-one machines that did not require computers but had built-in displays and computers. Then at the end of 2015, they released a system that once again separated computers but connected them via USB 3.0, utilizing the speed and lifespan of USB connections. The system is also more compact than previous models, reducing the number of cables and the physical size of the equipment itself.
